ROVER CURIOSITY | Possible Ruin Photographed on Sol 3522

BACKGROUND:
The two photographs analyzed here were acquired by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3522 (2022-07-03 17:12:00 UTC) and on Sol 3522 (2022-07-03 17:12:30 UTC) respectively.

ANALYSIS:
Here I show traces of a possible megalithic ruin. The main piece looks like a slab with internal bracing, multiple layers of sheet metal-like material (some pieces have a rusted appearance), shards and possible plants.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

MRO | Huge Complex Landform Spotted in Badwater on Mars

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here (ESP_026795_1470) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 14 April 2012 and is described as ‘Central Structure of an Impact Crater.’

ANALYSIS:
Featured here is an anomalous, complex landform I discovered at a site in Badwater in a region of Mars called Hellas Planitia. The anomaly is huge, the part I highlight in the video is at least 55 metres across. The whole anomaly spans a distance of over 1000 metres wide.

It appears a strange structure-like “web” covers massive caverns. This reminds me of the strange “web”-like material that covers the cavern in Hydraotes Colles:

Might this “web”-like material be organic in nature, perhaps indications of some kind of surface mining operations or a derelict structure?

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

DEEP DIVE | MRO | Partially Covered Cavern in Hydraotes Colles on Mars

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here (ESP_013177_1800) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 19 May 2009 and is described as ‘Possible Rootless Cones in Hydraotes Chaos.’

ANALYSIS:
Featured here is an interesting anomaly that looks similar to a web/organic material or bracing covering a cavern, I discovered this anomaly at a site in Hydraotes Colles on Mars. The cavern measures approximately twenty two metres across.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

IMAGE UPSCALING COMPARISON:
Following is a comparison of the upscaled image of this object using Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel to a conventionally magnified image of the same object. The highlights, shadows, geometry and shape of the object are the same on both, the only difference is that the upscaled image is a lot sharper (Gigapixel upscales preserving the edges of objects whereas a convention magnified image is blurry).

OPPORTUNITY ROVER | Revisiting an old Artifact in Hi-Definition

The photograph analyzed here was taken by the Panoramic Camera onboard NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on 2004-02-02.

Featured here is a totally out-of-place artifact measuring between 4 to 5 cm in length. Could this be litter from the mission or something else? NASA’s explanation isn’t conclusive. Apparently it also moved …

To quote from the article I reference (NASA’s explanation: link to the article under reference links below):

i) Rob Manning, lead engineer for entry, descent and landing. “We cannot say exactly where it came from but we can say that there are several possibilities: cotton insulation, Vectran covers and wraps from the airbag, Zylon bridle tensioning ties, or felt insulation from the gas generators … The list goes on.” So the jury is still out as to what this anomaly is.

ii) “After looking at pictures of Opportunity’s lander up-close, I think we might have, again, spotted the bunny,” said Johnson. “It looks as if the object has been blown under the north-facing egress ramp.” They can’t say for certain though, note the words: “I think we might have …” and “It looks as if …”

THE 2024 TOP 30 | The 30 Best Anomalies and Artifacts Featured in 2024

Happy New Year everybody, I hope 2025 is going to be a great year for all of us.

In this feature presentation I present the top 30 Best Mars anomalies and artifacts I covered on my YouTube Channel from late 2023 through to the end of 2024.

This is a shortened version to the over two hour long video I published earlier titled: “2024 IN REVIEW | All The Best Anomalies and Artifacts Featured in 2024” especially for those of you that don’t have time to view long format video’s.

The 30 anomalies/artifacts in this shortened video are also presented in the longer format video.

I present anomalies and artifacts photographed by the following Mars missions:

NASA MGS: Mars Global Surveyor
NASA MRO: Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter
NASA MSL: Rover Curiosity
NASA Mars 2020: Perseverance Rover
NASA MER-A (Mars Exploration Rover – A): Spirit Rover

I show and describe the geometry and symmetry of the anomalies and artifacts. For the majority of these we can make direct comparisons to similar items/structures here on Earth. As per viewer request I also speculate a bit more about these than I usually do (hopefully offering a better insight as to what we are looking at). After all, wasn’t science based on speculation and hypothesis in the past?

Mars’ full history is a mystery and the evidence I present makes a compelling case that it may have been inhabited by intelligent humanoid civilization/s in the planets distant past and the anomalies and artifacts I present are the remains of this ancient civilization/s.

The evidence also suggests that there were major plant wide catastrophes in Mars’ past, everything is dispersed across the surface and nothing seems intact.

My hope is that one day when we get human explorers on Mars that they examine these anomalies and artifacts to determine their origin, i.e. natural geology or intelligent design and manufacture. Also, that these explorers treat any artifacts they find with the respect they deserve and that the findings are shared with all of us in a transparent fashion.

2024 IN REVIEW | All The Best Anomalies and Artifacts Featured in 2024

Peculiar Feature in Atlantis Chaos on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_019103_1460) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 24 August 2010 and is described as ‘Iron and Magnesium Clays in and near Atlantis Chaos.’

Here I feature a unique anomaly, leaf-like in shape, found in a region of Mars called Atlantis Chaos. It measures approximately 30 metres in length and doesn’t look like any of the dunes found in this photograph. A closer look reveals the small parts appear root-like in nature (some cross over others). Could this just be a weird dune or could this be an organic/plant-like life-form?

ROVER CURIOSITY | Possible Orange and Green Life-Forms Photographed on Sol 710 (Hi-Definition)

The photographs analyzed here were taken by Rover Curiosity on Sol 710 (2014-08-05 13:25:07 UTC) and Sol 710 (2014-08-05 16:17:58 UTC) respectively.

Featured here are what I speculate to be life-forms growing on the side of a cliff. The one life-form looks like a type of fungus and the other like patches of green moss-like material. There is also something that looks similar to a root going up the side of the rock-face.

There are also dark streaks on the sand that look like mud running down the slopes near the possible life-forms.

Also featured is a photograph taken in the same area showing possible mud-like material stuck to the rovers wheel. The tread mark in the sand next to the rover is also very dark compared to the surface material which in my opinion supports the possibility of water/moisture in the area.

Remarkable Surface Features in Australe Lingula on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_012506_0850) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 27 March 2009 and is described as ‘Defrosting Spots Over Polygonal Ground.’

Here I feature new surface features my friend Andy brought to my attention, the site is in a region of Mars called Australe Lingula.

The surface features, that look similar in appearance to roots, are on top of the surface and form patterns that are independent from the surface cracks or fractures. The “bubbles” or “Domes,” similar in appearance to mushrooms, are just as strange and in my opinion are also out of place as they too don’t conform to the cracks or fractures in the Martian surface.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel to upscale this image.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
