BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here (F02_036488_2211_XI_41N335W) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) Context Camera (CTX) on 2014-05-09T16:37:29.117 and is described as ‘North Arabia Terra monitoring site.’
ANALYSIS:
In this feature I present another huge disc-shaped feature or object measuring approximately 270 metres in diameter. Is this just a circular depression possibly filled with an ice-like material? In my opinion it doesn’t look like the typical depressions at this site.
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal and investigate them in detail, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
