BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here was acquired by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3556 (2022-08-07 20:58:23 UTC).
ANALYSIS:
Featured here is a cylindrical object surrounded by random rocks and stones. The one side is flat and has a perfect circular shape. It has a very smooth appearance. I estimate it to be about 20 cm in length, but it could be larger. Furthermore it appears to have been lying on the surface for an extended period of time, being partially embedded in sand. This is not a sample return tube, only Perseverance Rover has those.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
