ROVER CURIOSITY | Wheels on Mars (Sol 729)

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here was acquired by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 729 (2014-08-25 05:27:12 UTC).

ANALYSIS:
Featured here are two wheel-like anomalies. The one in front has a small circular part in its center, the one at the back seems to be slightly skew or tilted towards the front one and there seems to be a connecting part between the two.

Could this possibly be wreckage from a failed Mars mission that we are not aware of, or something else?

The Mars researcher, Thomas Mikey Jensen, is credited here for originally finding this anomaly:

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

IMAGE UPSCALING:
To see more examples of how well this image upscaler works and to read about the technology used please refer to the following web page:

Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel is not the run-of-the-mill free AI image upscaler. It is an expensive piece of sophisticated software used in studios and by professional photographers around the world, even NASA uses Topaz Labs upscaling technology.

DISCLAIMER:
Many or all of the anomalies/artefacts covered in this presentation may be naturally occurring geological features caused by some type of geological processes, however due to the lack of specific information from the source we can only speculate whether these are all natural or some artificial in nature.

In cases where I say an anomaly looks like something I’m attempting to clarify what I see and not specifically that the anomaly is what I say it looks like.

My intention is only to share anomalies I’ve discovered on Mars and not to convince anyone that there is or was a civilization on Mars.

As Will Farrar from WhatsUpInTheSky says: “I see what I see, you see what you see.”
