Rover Spots Strange Artifact on Mars

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here was taken by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 1352 (2016-05-26 05:16:25 UTC).

ANALYSIS:
Here I present an anomaly that has a dome-like shape, a part to the left-hand side looks similar to a handle, three parallel ridges on the right-hand side and a circular carved away area to the bottom right. I estimate this object to be about 12 cm to 15 cm across. Note the three layered rectangular object located to the top-left of the featured object. Two similar parts seem to be sandwiching a smaller part.

A Huge Feature on a Barren Martian Plain

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here (ESP_024694_2650) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) HiRISE Camera on 02 November 2011 and is described as ‘Fractures in North Polar Layered Deposits.’

ANALYSIS:
In this feature I present an unusual feature I discovered at the North Pole of Mars. It measures approximately 200 metres in length and about 10 metres high. It reminds me of a capsized ship, revealing a keel-like shape to the viewer. It also has a strange cigar-like/cylindrical shape. There is nothing like it on this vast plain; it is totally out-of-place.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal and investigate them in detail, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

Machine-Like Artifact Discovered on Mars

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here was taken by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3800 (2023-04-15 14:39:29 UTC).

ANALYSIS:
Here I present an anomaly that has a machine-like appearance. Seen is a disc or ring-like part possibly attached to a long narrow part. The end of the long part is visible inside the ring. To the upper-left is an object that might have a rectangular opening.

Possible Fossilized Backbone Discovered on Mars

BACKGROUND:
Two photographs are analyzed here, one taken by the Rover Curiosity and the other by the MRO HiRISE Camera: The first photograph was taken by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3786 (2023-04-01 04:44:28 UTC) and the second photograph (PSP_001752_1750) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) HiRISE Camera on 10 December 2006 and is described as ‘Evidence for Water …’

ANALYSIS:
Here I present an anomaly that has a similar appearance to a fossilized backbone we find here on Earth, e.g. Priscacara. There is a row of spines (roughly the same length) and they are spaced equally apart in a row. NASA has also discovered evidence of water in the area where this anomaly was photographed as seen in the HiRISE photograph. There are strange grid-like features on the surface around this area that look similar to fish farms we find here on Earth. Could we be looking at a fossilized backbone of a fish-like creature that is embedded in stone?

ROVER CURIOSITY | An Old Visitor Returns on Mars

BACKGROUND:
A photograph taken by the Right Navigation Camera onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 4816 (2026-02-22 11:56:09 UTC) is analyzed here.

ANALYSIS:
Here I present two UFO/UAP objects photographed by the Rover Curiosity, one in 2014 and the other recently in 2026. Both look slightly similar in that they appear to have dome-like parts and both are pretty much symmetrical. Are these possibly drones or craft photographed by the Rover in the Martian sky? If so, why are they there and what are they up to? We’ve seen similar objects in our sky here on Earth too.

Why I use Topaz Labs Gigapixel Image Upscaler?

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS:
Many viewers comment on me using AI to upscale images. In this video I attempt to show that Topaz Labs Gigapixel Image Upscaler is not a conventional, free online AI image upscaler. It is sophisticated software that uses state-of-the-art deconvolution mathematical upscaling methods combined with deep learning.

Deconvolution is a mathematical method of recovering original detail by using a deconvolution method. Perhaps the following scenario could explain it in broad terms: It’s like taking an image, apply a blur to it, then applying an anti-blur filter to remove that blur – returning the image to its original quality. The parameters that were used to de-blur the image are then applied to the upscaled image producing a high definition upscale.

Possible Geoglyph in Cydonia on Mars

BACKGROUND:
The photograph analyzed here (F02_036608_2190_XN_39N012W) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) Context Camera (CTX) on 2014-05-19 and is described as ‘Ride-along with CRISM.’

ANALYSIS:
This surface feature in the Cydonia region of Mars is highly irregular, consisting of the parallel lines and a smaller triangular part perpendicular to the lines. The longer line is approximately 850 metres in length. Two lines drawn, touching the outer edges of the two parallel lines and extended out to form an apex, depict a triangle. It is at this apex that we find a smaller triangle depicted. The D&M Pyramid and Face in Cydonia are nearby. Could this be a huge geoglyph or just some weird freak of nature?

Flying Triangles Spotted in the Lunar Sky

BACKGROUND:
Three photographs taken by the Apollo 11, 12 and 17 astronauts are analyzed here.

ANALYSIS:
In this feature I present three strange triangular objects photographed in the Lunar sky. These consist of three distinct smaller objects in the shape of a triangle. Could these be flying triangular-shaped craft or three orbs in triangular formation? In many cases some of these have a blue colour, just like Astronaut Edgar Mitchell reports.

Thanks to my friend Maaneli (Max) Derakhshani Ph.D who submitted these anomalies to me. He searched the March to the Moon Archive for these newer scans. They may have been discovered previously, in that case all credit to the original researcher/s.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal and investigate them in detail, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

Possible Ruins on Mars

BACKGROUND:
A sequence of three photographs taken by the Right Navigation Camera onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 4810 (2026-02-16) as well as two photographs taken by the MRO HiRISE Camera on 24 April 2012 and 10 December 2006 called “Possible Clays and Sulfates in Gale Crater” and “Evidence for Water and Wind Processes in Gale Crater” respectively are analyzed here.

ANALYSIS:
Here I present evidence that the Rover Curiosity and MRO photographed possible partially walled ruins on Mars. These appear to consist of straight walls or foundations, some intersecting at right-angles. The rectangular area’s between these are hollowed or cleared out, with sand visible against the sides. George Haas of the Cydonia Institute and I compare these to ruins found in Pueblo Bonito, Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. As an alternative Amine Belkessam suggests these might by ancient salt mines, comparable to salt mines found in the Peruvian Andes, Cuzco, Peru. As a third alternative might these have been fish-farms? After all NASA found evidence of water at this site.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
